Overview
MCS was engaged by a Tier One contractor to deliver a turnkey material production solution for a major marine protection project requiring specification-critical construction materials. The project involved the production of approximately 200,000 tonnes of rock armour for marine protection works and 100,000 tonnes of A-grade road base for project construction activities.
The client required a single contractor capable of managing the complete production process, from extraction through to final product presentation, while maintaining strict quality control and compliance requirements.

Our Solution
MCS delivered an integrated service covering blasting, mining, crushing, sorting, processing and stockpile management. By controlling the entire production chain, MCS reduced interface risk and provided a single point of accountability throughout the project.
Rock armour was selectively mined and sorted to meet strict marine protection requirements, while mobile crushing circuits were configured to consistently produce compliant A-grade road base. Finished materials were stockpiled, clearly labelled and prepared for client inspection, testing and approval.
This approach ensured full traceability across all material streams while maintaining production efficiency and product quality.
